Lumberjack Mile & 5K offers a fun, family-friendly way to support hunger relief efforts in local schools.

The 5K and 1-mile fun run begin at 9 a.m., with race-day registration and packet pickup opening at 8 a.m. at Grand Rapids Public Utilities (500 SE 4th Street). The scenic course crosses the Mississippi River and winds through Veterans Memorial Park, with a live DJ, local refreshments, and festive fun at the finish line. Free parking is available onsite.

Proceeds benefit United Way of 1000 Lakes’ hunger initiatives, providing nutritious food to local students through school-based pantry programs.
