Fun Fall attractions & Events

MEA family getaway

Another great top things to do in October and November is the fun fall attractions and seasonal events. One of those examples are Cowhorn Crossing Farm that provides a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a corn maze, live farm animals that you can pet, a hay mound, and outdoor play areas. This is fun for all ages, and you don’t need to have children to attend. 

The Forest History Center offers horse drawn forest trolley rides and guided Mississippi River pontoon rides on Fridays and Saturdays, in addition to their 1900’s Logging Camp, the fire tower, and all of their trails are open on these days as well.

The Judy Garland Museum offers a Stolen Ruby Red Slipper Tour on Friday and Saturdays, as well as the Museum and Children’s Museum are hours Monday-Saturday.

The Itasca County Historical Society Escape Room is open Monday-Sunday during the fall, and their museum offers a Mississippi River Room exhibit with them being located on the Mississippi River.
