A jukebox musical written by British playwright Catherine Johnson, based on the songs of ABBA composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, former members of the band. The title of the musical is taken from the group's 1975 chart-topper "Mamma Mia". Ulvaeus and Andersson, who composed the original music for ABBA, were involved in the development of the show from the beginning. Singer Anni-Frid Lyngstad has been involved financially in the production and she has also been present at many of the premieres around the world.

The musical includes such hits as "Super Trouper", "Lay All Your Love on Me", "Dancing Queen", "Knowing Me, Knowing You", "Take a Chance on Me", "Thank You for the Music", "Money, Money, Money", "The Winner Takes It All", "Voulez-Vous", "SOS" and the title track. Over 60 million people have seen the show, which has grossed $2 billion worldwide since its 1999 debut. A film adaptation starring Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, Christine Baranski, Stellan Skarsgård and Julie Walters was released in July 2008.

Two of the most underutilized - or at least misunderstood - of the yoga technologies in yoga the the breath (pranayama) which restores and directs energy (prana) in the body and the bandhas (locks) which retain and allow fo assimilation of energy.

In this workshop we dive into some of the subtler aspects of yoga that we don't always have time to discuss in depth in a regular yoga class, but once you know and understand them you can apply them for yourself at any time to cultivate a unique and personalized approach to any yoga class you take.

The first part of this practice will begin with an explanation and practical experience of several breathing techniques that can be used alone and then we will do a 90 minute practice where we use pranayama deliberately to bring you into the deepest state of awareness you may have experiences in a long time (if ever).

Bring a pen and paper to take note and be prepared for a 90-minute practice.

$50 for one individual session. $90 for 2 sessions.

Members get an automatic additional 10% discount.

Steve Smith, better known as Red Green, from the beloved Gemini Award-winning comedy series The Red Green Show, is taking the show to the road in 2019 for his “This Could Be It” tour. The name says it all: Potentially Red Green’s last tour as he heads out on the road to hold ‘Lodge Meetings’ all over North America. This might be your last opportunity to catch Red live before he takes a long look at his birth certificate and decides not to keep pushing his luck.

This one man show features some brand new handyman projects, advice to married guys and teenage boys, tips on getting old, an apology to the world on behalf of all baby boomers, with special contributions from Harold and a couple of other cast members, talking animals, and a final wish from Red to all of his loyal fans.

    ABOUT RED:

Self appointed master handyman and outdoorsman and a weekly participant in Canada’s socialized medical system. The Ambassador for Scotch Brand Duct Tape and a firm believer that no repair job should outlive you. Hates information but loves his own point of view. Likes taking things that were intended for one purpose and using them for something completely different. Oblivious to failure. (That could all change once he experiences success). Either the youngest old man or oldest young man you will ever meet.

Born December 24, 1945 to mixed parents. Canadian. Male (except for the two weeks after the bicycle crossbar incident) Married to Bernice for 42 years. Right after he met his nephew Harold he made the decision not to have children. Has been leader of Possum Lodge since the late 70’s. Does not receive a salary but has access to petty cash. Does not have significant formal education but has access to petty opinions. Retired in 2006 when he ran out of ideas. Rejoined the workforce in 2009 when he ran out of money. 2019 is likely his last year of touring.

A native of the northern Minnesota logging town of Bemidji, Brian Miller teams up with Wisconsinite Randy Gosa to perform the Irish-influenced music of men who roamed the Great Lakes region in the days when pine was king. Miller and Gosa are both renowned in the Irish traditional music world for their work with top artists (including Bua and Myserk) in the US and Ireland. As a duo, they mix a passion for Northwoods history and folklore with their finely honed approach to song-arrangement to bring this rich but under-explored music to life.
