PLACES TO SKATE

The IRA Civic Center sometimes has open skate sessions available Monday through Friday from 11 am-1 pm. The cost of open skating is $2/children and $3/adult. There are two ice sheets at the IRA Civic Center. One is 188 feet by 85 feet with a Zamboni resurfacer. The other is 200 feet by 100 feet with an Olympia resurfacer. There is ample parking in three different lots surrounding the facility, and it is right next to American Legion Memorial Park. To take part in open skating you will need your own skates and equipment.  For more information, you can contact the IRA Civic Center at (218) 326-2500.

The arena is 192' x 85'.  Ice is on 7 months of the year.  The arena has a designated wheelchair section perfect for full viewing. The lobby has handicap-accessible viewing windows and bathrooms. 

The lobby includes a large concession stand and several vending machines.
