Real Horse Power Family Day
The Forest History Center is pleased to announce the return of one of our most popular events, “The Days of Real Horsepower,” on the August 26 and 27. We will be joined by teams of draft horses from around Minnesota for two days of logging demonstrations and fun activities in the camp.

See teams of draft horses perform amazing feats of strength as they engage in historic logging tasks, such as cross-loading logs onto sleighs, skidding, and loading logs with the A-frame jammer. Plus, meet the horses and teamsters!
Historic logging demonstrations and fun logging camp activities will be available throughout the day. Included in regular site admission; free for MNHS members.
