Annually, the Lumberjack Mike and 5K, held on the second Saturday in September. The route features a scenic riverside course that crosses over two bridges and under one, where you will have beautiful views of the Mississippi River. The race starts at 9 a.m. from Grand Rapids Public Utilities, adjacent to the Itasca County Family YMCA, where it begins and ends.

Participants are encouraged to wear their Lumberjack best. Awards will be presented following the race, recognizing top finishers in each division and “Best dressed.”
