Dining Family Friendly Groups

Gather your friends and family around a table at Sammy’s Pizza in Grand Rapids, for the original beloved recipes of Sam and Louise, crafted in the 1950s.

Our location in Grand Rapids opened in 1984 and is currently owned and operated by Tony and Kelly Jerulle, along with their daughter Maria.

The two grew up near the original Sammy’s Pizza in Hibbing and quickly became fans. Tony eventually moved to Grand Rapids and got a job managing Sammy’s. After a few years he jumped at the opportunity to purchase the restaurant from Jeff Perrella Sr. Not too long after, Kelly moved to the area and applied to work at the restaurant. You could say the rest is history.

Tony and Kelly, now married, are also part owners of Sammy’s Pizza locations in Hibbing and International Falls.

When you visit, our hope is that you’ll realize Sammy’s makes much more than great pizza – we make works of art inspiring traditions with family and friends, as well as in our local community.
