The Avenue of Pines is approximately 47 mile scenic drive that runs from Deer River to Northome, Minnesota. Along this drive you will experience hundred year old tall pine trees, lots of Minnesota’s wildlife (eagles, deer, raccoon, squirrels and many northwoods song birds). The Avenue of Pines is located in the Chippewa National Forest. You will find many designated trails to hike, bike, ATV and snowmobile. There are many restaurants, gas stations, places to shop and lodging properties along this route to enjoy.
