Proceeds benefit Itasca Waters: “The Walk for Water organizers will use the receipts to pay for the event t-shirts and gift the balance over that expense to Itasca Waters. Itasca Waters has earmarked these funds, as well as any proceeds from our “Planting for Clean Water” workshop on May 2nd, to go to our Shoreland fund. This fund purchases the native plant seeds and supplies needed for the rain gardens, display plantings, erosion control areas etc that are installed around Grand Rapids and Itasca County waterways. The seedlings are grown by the Grand Rapids High School Horticultural class.”

Kids under 10 can attend at no cost with a registered Adult. Only registered attendees will receive a t-shirt.
