Paddle & Pint on the Mississippi
Come take a trip down the Mississippi River!
We will start at Tioga Beach and paddle through Little and Big Jay Gould lakes then get back on the river to exit at the Pokegama Dam.
HOW IT WORKS: Participants will drop their kayak, canoe, or SUP off at Tioga Beach around 8/8:30 where a City staff will keep them safe while you drive to Pokegama Dam to park your car. A bus or vehicle will shuttle you back to Tioga Beach where the paddle will begin at 9:00 (there may be a fee for the shuttle). When you reach the dam, load your boat on your vehicle.
RSVP is not needed but appreciated. Email parks@cohasset-mn.com and say how many vehicles and boats will participate. Otherwise, just arrive in time to shuttle your vehicles. The Paddle begins at 9:00am from the beach.

BRING YOUR FRIENDS because when we end our paddle at Pokegama Dam, we can all jump in our cars and drive to Bear Ridge Pizza in Cohasset (only a half mile to the west) for beer, food, and fun conversation.
The paddling portion of the event is free, but pizza and beer is purchased by you at Bear Ridge Pizza. Shuttling may have a fee also.
We will have safety boats along the route to help as needed.
Bring your own Personal Flotation Device.
