Livingroom Music & Poetry Show: Rosetta Peters and JG Everest

Ticket price is a suggested donation. We will also offer sliding scale tickets at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds!

Poet / storyteller Rosetta “Rosie” Peters and composer / musician JG Everest return to Grand Rapids for a special performance of their live poetry + music storytelling collaboration, featuring brand new material, as well as pieces from their acclaimed 2022 chapbook album, The Hummingbirds Dance. The combination of Peter’s heartfelt and powerful stories and poetry, combined with Everest’s cinematic and ethereal musical accompaniment is a transportive, transcendent alchemy that inspires and connects us all more deeply to our human experience.

Local writers from our ‘Paper in Fire’ community writing circle will open the show, sharing poetry, spoken word, and more! To sign-up to read, email shanai@fireinthevillage.org
