Lawron Trail Riders Snowmobile Club Report

January 20, 2026 – Obviously it’s been an interesting winter so far. We have had enough snow to get out and pan it, but definitely need to do a snow dance for some more snow. The Lawron and Brandstrom trails were groomed last Friday. We finally made it up the Nashwauk north and the Daybrook. The Daybrook trail was groomed to the Wolf Lake Road yesterday, then there was a gate that was still locked so our driver had to turn around. The trail is open as you can get around the gate with a snowmobile. We will get that open soon. Look for our trail reroute north of the Daybrook/Nashwauk shelter on the Nashwauk trail. We had a bridge closer for the season. Follow the signs and the groomed trail. As far as the trails, where the ground is ruff the trails are a bit ruff. The rest seems to be pretty good for a decent ride. It is a really good base, just need that 6-8 incher! A few of us went for a dinner cruise from the LLL to Wizards and to the R Bar the other night, and it was good enough to get out there, and the businesses definitely can use our support. Till next time! Prez
