Pumpkin Patch Fun in Grand Rapids
Did you know that Grand Rapids has a Pumpkin Patch? Yes! the name of the pumpkin patch is Cowhorn Crossing, and they are celebrating their 16th year!
Fall is a great time to head north to Grand Rapids to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves, cooler temperatures, and of course a pumpkin patch! This is Cowhorn Crossing’s 16th year of providing a pumpkin patch. Here is what you will enjoy at the pumpkin patch: petting zoo, concessions and indoor eating area, hayrides to feed to cows in the pasture, 13 acre corn maze, three indoor hay mazes, rope swing, playground area, many photo backdrops, pumpkins, gourds, squash, and corn stocks. All the pumpkins, gourds and squash are grown on site. The pumpkins range in size from 3-35 pounds; and range in price from $2-$10. Admission is $7/person for 2 yrs old and up.
For groups of 10 people or more. Groups will receive all of the pumpkin patch amenities and in addition each person in the group will receive a pie pumpkin with admission as well. The discounted price is $6/person. There is plenty of parking for buses in their field.
Cowhorn Crossing gets a lot of student visitors, as it makes for a great field trip for school aged kids. The pumpkin patch is a great attraction destination for all ages. They are open fourth week in September though end of October of each year. Their hours are Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm, open for groups during the week by appointment, and over Minnesota Education Association break they are open Thursday-Sunday 10am-6pm.
