This poweful play follows Thurgood Marshall’s life from childhood in the back alleys of Baltimore to the position of Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. Along the way, this larger-than-life figure became one of the key architects of the American Civil Rights Movement, which included the landmark Brown v. Board of Education cases as well as other key voting-rights cases. Tracking a journey of epic proportions, THURGOOD is an eye-opening, humorous, and uplifting portrait of a true American hero.
