Great Northern Forest History Tour

A 90-minute, horse-drawn trolley tour narrated by our interpreters presenting a robust historical story of our site. Some of the topics covered are the transformation of the Mississippi River, logging and forest management, and early people of the region including native groups as well as early European settlers. Other cultural and environmental history stories of the Northwoods are presented.
