Meet Seth Larson
Seth grew up in Grand Rapids, MN for most of his life. He began drawing at the age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since. He knew his love for art was so strong that he wanted to perused a career in graphic design. After he graduated from Itasca Community College, he transferred to Bemidji State where he explored other art forms. In addition, he has a love for abstract art, painting, ink and photography.
In Seth’s first semester of college, in his first drawing class he was first introduced to willow charcoal. All of Seth’s current gallery pieces are made with this charcoal. He describes the use of it as, it layers so nice to fade colors from light to dark. His art is in black and white and others in colors. The question was asked, what is your favorite piece and Seth’s response was he does not have a favorite, “All equal amount of work and appreciation for all of my pieces”.
