A Grateful and Thankful Mindset

As the year 2020 comes to a close, there is so much to think about. We have been living in a pandemic that has turned everything upside down. Think about how differently we could view 2020 and think about some of the positives that have also come with it. 2020 has brought getting out into nature, an appreciation for family and friends, and the freedom we had before Covid-19.  Visit Grand Rapids is celebrating the positives during November by promoting 30 Days of Thankfulness and A State of gratitude by Explore Minnesota Tourism and Graffiti Gratitude Itasca.

30 Days of Thankfulness

On November 1st Visit Grand Rapids has started posting once a day to promote thankfulness and gratitude. The posts include local businesses that want to use this campaign to thank the community and their staff for all the positive things that are happening to keep our local businesses going. Some days there will be quotes and pictures of the natural beauty of Grand Rapids. The mission of this campaign is to spread positivity and remind our awesome community of all the support that is happening locally. Also, a reminder of all the close scenery we have around us that we have been able to utilize to get outside and social distance during Covid-19.

The 30 days of thankfulness campaign will end on November 30th. Check out Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for our daily posts.
