Forget the demands of every day life and enjoy a true northwoods vacation experience at Loon Point Resort (formerly known as Kenadian Acres) – the only resort on beautiful Wasson Lake.  Located 35 miles northeast of Grand Rapids, Wasson is an exceptionally scenic lake with no public boat access.  It’s noted for largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, crappie and bluegill.  Loon Point Resort is situated on 42 acres of forestland and is the perfect setting to connect with what is important to YOU.  Relax, spend time with loved ones, play with your children or grandchildren, have a family reunion, fish, swim, kayak, canoe, hike, bike, enjoy the wildlife around you, read a good book, visit nearby attractions in and around Grand Rapids . . . the options are practically endless.

You can choose from 10 distinctive cabins.  The largest accommodations include new 3 and 4 bedroom full-log cabins and an 1800 sq. foot privately situated 4 bedroom lake home – all with A/C, fireplace, TV/DVD and dishwasher.  Or choose a traditional 2 or 3 bedroom cabin.  Or select a totally private, newly remodeled 3 bedroom lake cabin located only a mile from the main resort.  Regardless of your choice, each cabin will provide you with that special northwoods charm and offer the amenities you want to make your stay comfortable and worry free.   All cabins have a screened porch and weber grill.

Complimentary amenities for all resort guests include kayaks, canoes, catamaran sailboat, Rave water trampoline, paddleboat, sandy beach with fire pit, playground, and hiking trails.  The lodge includes a pool table, foosball and a lending library of books, games and puzzles.  Boats, motors, pontoon, and bikes are available to rent.  For winter fun, there is direct access to groomed snowmobile trails as well as cross-country ski trails in the vicinity.
