Itasca Historical Society’s display will be John C. Greenway – this gentleman left a legacy in the town of Coleraine (5 mi east of Grand Rapids). You will note that Bovey and Coleraine are right next to each other. When they were being established. Bovey was the “sin” town (drinking, gambling, etc.) and Coleraine was the “family” town (library, bank, homes). It’s a very interesting bit of history. Cost is $3/person, driver and escort comped.

Cross the street and take in the art at the MacRostie Art Center; there is no cost to go through the gallery.
